JIO Likely will control Bharti Airtel in the DTH segment

Suddenly, Reliance JIO Broadband and DTH Segment seem to have incredible power, thanks to the purchase of Reliance Industries's Hathaway Cable and Den Networks. This year the Jio GigaFiber service was announced in July, but this service will not be official yet in major parts of the country. Not only in the broadband segment, this purchase will lead to the got rival Bharti Airtel's DTH segment, as it now has 24 million subscribers of Hathway and DN network directly. Bharti Airtel is fast connecting new DTH customers faster. In the last quarter, Telecom has caught more than 10 million customers, but once started operating with Jio Gigafiber, the growth of customers like airtel can now be slowed in the telecom sector.

Reliance Jio Race ahead of Airtel in DTH

Prior to service in the country, Mukesh Ambani-led Telco has made significant difference in reaching out to customers on Bharti Airtel. Bharti Airtel has only 2 million homes across the country, while Reliance Jio is now likely to get access to 24 million customers as the DN Network and Hathway Cable have just been purchased. Reliance Jio has also opened a registration for its service from August 15 and has invested a total of Rs 5,230 crore in both companies. Even though it is clear that Airtel is not just sitting behind and is likely to be back in the tailau market, Reliance Jio has asked Reliance Jio to get the Giga Fiber service over the new Bharti Airtel of Reliance Jio. Currently, these customers have to upgrade to cable services via cable connections or fixed line connections to FTTH services. Credit Suisse wrote this news.

On the other hand, teleco led by Sunil Bharti Mittal do not plan to live their DTH Segment. By 2021, 10 million customers will be added to 100 cities. In 2018 and 2019, Airtel will spend only 24,000 crores for DTH business so that the operations will increase rapidly.

Reliance JIO will make a good offer

Reliance JIO is supporting 250 million live 4G subscribers on a large customer base, when the content comes up with telescope when it comes to contracting with broadcasters. Also, Reliance Jio's portfolio of content distribution applications like Jio Mags, Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Music, Jio Newspaper and Jio Cloud is one of the strongest categories of content broadcasters. Next, Reliance Jio is likely to support free services in the initial days because Jio 4G has gathered customers at a faster rate. Looking at all this, Bharti Airtel will stand in front of Reliance Jio Services integration and offers. Further, in the ET report for Kotak Institutional Equity statement, it has been clarified that it will be a tough competition for Reliance Jio against Airtel, however, it is expected that Tatasky would be worse.
