Facebook is planning to provide a new update to Messenger which will allow users to delete messages sent from chat threads within 10 minutes of being sent.

Facebook Messenger Let's delete the message within 10 minutes of sending The Twitter user saw the feature featured in Messengers' iOS version of the version 1.1.1.0 "Release soon" in the release notes, The Wedge reported on Wednesday.

"Tech News Coming soon: Remove a message from the chat thread after sending it. If you accidentally send the wrong photo, incorrect information, or a misconstruction message, you can easily fix it by removing the message within 10 minutes to send it." 

In October, Jane Manchun Wong, an engineer, searched and tweeted the feature for the first time.

During data dissolution and other scams, the company was quietly sending messages that Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg had shared by Messenger, after which the company said that the ability to Delete or Correct messages would be made available to all the messenger users.

However, no specific date has been announced by the company nor Time it take, it will finally be available to the users.

In early March, Facebook launched "delete for everyone" feature on WhatsApp, which provides an hour of window to draw messages sent to users individually as well as group chats.
